So, this past December I took my third trip back to the amazing country, Vietnam. I did a bunch of traveling within Vietnam whilst on this trip, traveling from the capital, Hanoi, to the north in Sa Pa and seeing the Chinese border, down to the south of Ho Chi Minh City in Saigon. As always, the main priority once landing is always, FOOD! Almost all the food in Vietnam is healthy and locally sourced which, in my opinion, is the dream for foodies that into ethically sourced food.
Within those I got to stop at visit a handful of institutions of children with disabilities and schools specially designed for children that are deaf. So many of these kids within the institutions have never seen outside the walls of their so-called home. Many of them didn't even have an idea what a camera was. But they were happy. Joyful to have interaction with those who were not their caretakers. Many of the disabilities I saw were the type that, here in America, would be mainstreamed into schools with an IEP (Individualized Education Plan).
